Die Tuishuise were home to Wagon Makers in the early 1840s and actually used as Tuishuise (townhouses) for farmers when they came to Cradock for their Communion (nagmal huisies). The Victoria Manor was built in 1848 and advertised as It all started in the 1840s – restored to its former glory in 1983. Escape the present and enjoy the historically rich surroundings of Market Street in your own Tuishuis. Sandra Antrobus, the owner and restorer of Die Tuishuise & Victoria Manor, has decorated each... hotel from early 1850.
