Chez Nous is managed by the owner, Elisabeth Durham, who is French and is dedicated to personal attention and a qualified Tourist Guide. We have 11-well-appointed rooms with attention to detail for your comfort.
Breakfast is served with homemade bread, jams, and freshly ground coffee beans and we offer the best cappuccino and espresso.
Our lovely homegrown organic vegetables are used with our three-course dinner and fully South African breakfast.
We can also take you on a Battlefield tour to Isandlwana, Rorke’s Drift, and Blood River during your visit.

My name is Elisabeth Durham and am a Registered Battlefield Tour Guide based in Dundee in Kwa Zulu Natal. I also own a lovely Guest House in Dundee.
I am French and South African so English and French are my languages. I reside in South Africa already for 34 years and consider myself a South African with French roots.
You are welcome to book accommodation with me, or just come and visit me for the Tours only.
It will be my pleasure to take you on a full day tour: 3 battlesites for R2000.00 for 1 to 6 persons
Or half a day tour: 2 battlesites for R1800.00 for 1 to 6 persons.
Should you wish to use my vehicle the lovely Red Duster you must add R700.00
The battlefields are the following: Blood River, Isandlwana, Rorkes’drift and Prince Imperial Cenotaphe.
Battlefield tour itinerary – Kwa Zulu Natal
Departure 8 am: from Chez Nous B&B Dundee after a good breakfast
Arrival at Blood River Monument 09.45
Visit of the Museum and amazing Monument of Bronze life-size wagons:
Zulu Culture route on the way to Isandlwana: with explanations
Isandlwana arrival 12.15h visit to the local museum and comprehensive tour with Elisabeth Durham on the battlefield itself.
The Zulu army defeated the British. 1753 casualties on the British side, and a total underestimation of their opponent.
Departure 1 hour to 2 hours from Isandlwana to Rorkesdrift:
Picnic or full Lunch at Rorkesdrift or Isandlwana we can choose the place together.
Visit Rorkesdrift 45 minutes from the departure of Isandlwana
